Terms of Service

Welcome to Varcq. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Varcq (the "Service"). By using Varcq, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Varcq in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Varcq. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Accounts and Accurate Information

You are responsible for the information you provide, including profile content, contact details, and work history. You agree to keep your information accurate, current, and complete, and to safeguard your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Create fake profiles or impersonate any person or organization.
• Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or harassing communications.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service by automated means.
• Reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its security.
• Use Varcq for anything unlawful, discriminatory, or misleading.

5. Content Ownership and Licence

You retain ownership of the content you post on Varcq, including your profile ("Varc"), work history, and any materials you upload. By posting content, you grant Varcq a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Service so we can operate features like browsing and search. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must retain it to comply with law.

6. Recruiter Conduct

Recruiters agree to use candidate information solely for legitimate hiring purposes, contact candidates respectfully, honour opt-outs, and comply with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and data-protection laws. Misuse of candidate data — including reselling, transferring to third parties, or unsolicited marketing — is prohibited and may result in termination.

7. No Guarantee of Employment

Varcq is a discovery platform. We do not guarantee that any candidate will be contacted, interviewed, or hired, and we do not guarantee that any recruiter will find suitable candidates. Hiring decisions and employment relationships are solely between candidates and employers.

8. Service Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Varcq and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100).

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or if we are required to do so by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including content licence, disclaimers, and liability limits) will remain in effect.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Continued use of Varcq after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
